Last weekend I attended the 2006 American Le Mans Championship race at Laguna Seca. The weekend included a GM sponsored Corvette Corral in which approximately 250 Corvettes gathered. Little did I know that if you were one of the first 100 Corvettes to arrive Friday morning, you could participate in a parade lap around the track. Here’s to getting out of bed earlier next year. Highlights of the day included getting my hands on a 2007 Z06 chassis cut-away, and a close up look at the race teams preparing for their events as we strolled through the paddock.
